Karangrejo, Kesesi – Untuk memeriahkan Hari Kemerdekaan RI ke 75, sejumlah warga Desa Karangrejo Kecamatan Kesesi menggelar berbagai kegiatan lomba. Adapun kegiatan dilaksanakan warga Rt 02 Rw 02 dengan lomba makan kerupuk, dan lomba turun Lumpur sawah denganencari air dibungkus plastik.
Meski perlombaan digelar hanya diikuti beberapa warga terutama emak Emak, namun membuat situasi menjadi rame. Sebab emak emak terjun langsung ke Lumpur dengan mata tertutup kain yang disediakan panitia.
Bahkan emak emak dalam kondisi tertatih tatih tetap semangat mencari bungjusan air yang digantung.
Salah seorang tokoh pemuda Desa Karangrejo, Kecamtan Kesesi, Anton mengatkan bahwa kegiatan tersebut digelar untuk memeriahkan HUT Ri ke 75. Melalui peringatan tersebut sekaligus memberikan contoh agar tetap semangat dalam meraih perjuangan.(4son)
