KAJEN – Trofeo atau pertandingan yang menampilkan tiga tim sepak bola kembali di gelar oleh H. Umar Grup Kajen. Tiga tim yang memperebutkan trofi dan uang pembinaan ini dilaksanakan di lapangan Nasional Kelurahan Kajen pada hari Sabtu (15/1/2022)
Tiga tim sepak bola yang ikut meramaikan dalam final trofeo H. Umar Grup adalah AKA FC sebagai tuan rumah, OGOS FC dan Almansa Kedungwuni. Dalam tiga kali pertandingan Ogos FC berhasil menyabet juara pertama setelah menahan imbang 0-0 melawan Almansa Kedungwuni dan mengalahkan tuan rumah lewat skor 3-0 sehingga mendapatkan 4 point. Sementara Almansa Kedungwuni menjadi juara 2 dari hasil kemenangan melawan AKA FC Kajen.
Walaupun turnamen trofeo tidak diakui oleh Badan Sepakbola Dunia (FIFA) sebagai pertandingan resmi, namun ajang trofeo ini dimanfaatkan oleh klub sepakbola sebagai pertandingan uji coba sebelum menghadapi turnamen yang sesungguhnya.
Trofeo H. Umar Group ini sebelumnya telah digelar dalam 3 grup selama 3 hari di tanggal 6, 8 dan 10 Januari 2022. Masing-masing grup meloloskan 1 tim dengan point tertinggi untuk melaju ke tiket final.
Dengan digelarnya Trofeo Haji Umar Group ini diharapkan klub sepakbola yang mengikuti turnamen ini dapat mengasah skill para pemain setelah sekian lama tidak bertanding karena batasan masa pandemi.(4son-6us)
