Watu Gajah – Komunitas Pelaku Seni Tradisi (KOPELSENTRA) bekerjasama dengan Bumdes Wisata Ciblon Sigesing Desa Watu Gajah Kesesi, menggelar gebyar suronan pada hari minggu 6 September 2020, dalam acara ini selain untuk meramaikan wisata juga mengajak kepada para pengunjung untuk lebih mengenal seni tradisional terutama pada generasi muda.
Dalam Gebyar Suronan Ciblon Sigesing ini, panitia dan KOPELSENTRA memberikan suguhan pagelaran tari dan wayang orang, banyak pengunjung yang penasaran ingin menyaksikan pagelaran ini, karena gelaran seni tari dan wayang orang adalah hal yang sudah jarang dipentaskan di Kota Santri.
Kepala Desa Watu Gajah Kesesi Suhadi mengatakan, dengan adanya event seperti ini bisa menjadi alternatif baru dalam menghibur masyarakat terutama para pengunjung Wisata Sigesing.
Sementara itu Direktur Utama Bumdes Karya Sejahtera Kaedi Sambodo menambahkan pihak pengelola memang selama ini banyak menggelar acara di komplek wisata sigesing, selain untuk menarik minat pengunjung dan meramaikan wisata sigesing, juga memberdayakan masyarakat lokal terutama pedagang untuk menambah pendapatan.
Dengan sering digelarnya acara hiburan masyarakat ini, diharapkan semakin mengenalkan Wisata Sigesing Watu Gajah Kesesi lebih terkenal dan mendongkrak jumlah pengunjung lebih banyak, terutama di akhir pekan.(4son)
