KAJEN – Mengenalkan jenis-jenis bencana dengan dongeng kepada anak-anak dilakukan Palang Merah Indonesia dan Korean Internasional Cooperation Agency (KOICA). Mereka mengenalkan penanganan bencana banjir, gempa bumi sampai gunung meletus.
Seperti di TPQ Almuhtarom Kajen Kabupaten Pekalongan, sebanyak 30 anak usia dini mendapatkan materi tentang kesiapsiagaan bencana. Pemateri dari Kepompong Indonesia menjelaskan dengan metode mendongeng dan bernyanyi kepada anak-anak.
Metode pembelajaran dengan dongeng dilakukan agar anak dapat senang dan ceria serta tidak bosan, sehingga materi yang diberikan bisa ditangkap anak lebih cepat.
Mereka memberikan materi pencegahan covid19, apa yang dilakukan apabila terjadi bencana banjir, gempa bumi bahkan gunung meletus, seperti mematikan sumber listrik saat banjir, menghindari kubangan dan melindungi kepala saat gempa.
Program ini merupakan kerjasama antara PMI Pusat dan KOICA untuk anak-anak, di Pekalongan ada lima lokasi yang dijadikan program KOICA for Kids.
Berharap anak-anak bisa memahami dan mengetahui yang harus mereka lakukan ketika dihadapkan saat bencana,temannya terluka ataupun kondisi kedaruratan lainnya.(4son-6us)
