Krandon, Kesesi – Dua ekor jenis buaya muara atau Crocodylus Porosus hidup di tengah-tengah perkampungan di Pekalongan Jawa Tengah, selama menahun. Bahkan diakui hingga delapan tahun, belum jelas asal-muasal buaya ini. Hanya saja, penghuni rumah mengaku hanya dititipkan oleh seseorang yang saat ini sudah meninggal dunia.
Satwa yang dilindungi oleh undang-undang ini dirawat di salah satu rumah warga di dukuh Grejo Desa Krandon Kecamatan Kesesi Pekalongan.
Keduanya ditempatkan di sebuah lokasi seperti kandang buaya yang dibuat permanen yang berada di depan samping kanan rumah warga setempat.
Di kandang buaya yang kecil berukuran sekitar dua setengah meter kali satu setengah eter dengan kedalaman satus etengah meter ini, diberi garis polisi agar warga tidak mendekat di kandang buaya yang sewaktu-waktu justru bisa memangsa manusia tersebut.
Menurut pemilik rumah yakni Suci Rahayu, buaya muara tersebut sedianya milik mertuanya yang sudah almarhum. asal-muasalnya dirinya tidak mengetahui.
Diakuinya sudah delapan tahun lamanya buaya tersebut berada di lokasi yang sama. dirinya dan suaminya sendiri hanya merawatnya. Suci berharap agar buaya muara tersebut dapat langsung dievakuasi oleh petugas Balai Konservasi Sumber Daya Alam atau BKSDA
Dirinya merasa kuatir akan sewaktu-waktu buaya menjadi ganas dan lepas, apalagi di sekitarnya merupakan rumah padat enduduk dan banyak anak-anak kecil yang kerap melihat keberadaan dua buaya tersebut.
Menurut Suci hampir setiap hari anak-anak kecil melihat adanya buaya tersebut. takutnya, buaya akan semakin besar dan dapat naik keatas dan membahayakan anak-anak.
Sementara itu, BKSDA Provinsi Jawa Tengah yang menerima laporan dari pihak Polres Pekalongan adanya dua satwa yang dilindungi ini, pada senin sore langsung melakukan pengecekan lokasi dua buaya muara yang dipelihara salahs atu warga setempat. Rencananya, dalam waktu dekat ini BKSDA akan melakukan evakuasi ke lokasi penangkaran buaya di Banyumas.
Petugas BKSDA juga menilai kondisi kandang yang saat ini ditempati buaya muara tersebut kurang laik karena kekecilan sehingga mempengaruhi perkembangan buaya muara yang dilindungi undang-undang tersebut.
Terungkapnya dua satwa liar yang dilindungi undang-undang yang dipelihara oleh warga ini, berawal dari adanya laporan warga ke Satreskrim Polres Pekalongan dan diteruskan ke BKSDA Provinsi Jawa Tengah.
